New for 2008, the Sunset Bay XR model offers a spacious sundeck, complete with large L-group seating, benches with lounges, and the front fishing chairs. This pontoon boat comes in a 21 foot or 23 foot length, with an 8 foot, 6 inch beam. The 23 inch diameter pontoons will offer a very dry and stable ride with the safety of an air tight pontoon with three chambers per tube. The XR offers many other quality standard features such as a spacious privacy unit, 9 foot Bimini frame, all roto-cast seat bases, and a hi-visibility rail. These are just a few of the many standard features available on the Sunset Bay XR.
Unlike any other boat on the market, this boat is the best of both worlds. It takes a little bit from both of its cousins the Sunset Bay Fish and the Cruise: the 21 foot Sunset Bay XR will take you on any adventure you want, from fishing, waterskiing, or just running around the lake. The 21 foot XR has the entire safety package as its big brother the 23 foot, but in a smaller package. From the large “L” group seat, where you can enjoy the lazy summer days, to the front deluxe fishing chairs mounted on the bow (where looking for the big catch is just in front of you). Other standard features of the XR Sunset Bay are the AM-FM CD with hook up for your MP3 player, made by Clarion Marine, a privacy unit, and a 9 foot Bimini frame. An all new front end is wrapped up in new graphics, to show everyone that this pontoon boat is all about class in the first degree.
